Kids are under constant pressure starting from their kindergarten, usually stress is not a very bad, but excess of anything is dangerous and this also applicable on stress. stress usually helps in taking up new challenges and keeps your brain function running. however to much of stress or constant stress can be damaging on the same brain.

Do not confine your children to your own learning, for they were born in another time.

— Chinese proverb

Building on kids inner motivations should be the most important factor for parents. Instead of telling them how proud you are of them for an ‘A’, parents end up paying or rewarding them. It’s important for parents to understand if they perform only for our reward, that is not the greatest thing to teach them. That makes them like the people who come to work just for the money, and always complain about their job or work in future.

It’s very unfortunate but most parents expect or demand that their kids should perform standard or better than they themselves faced or performed. Parents are too often very preoccupied with seeing their children succeed and intolerant of anything other than excellence.

To get a sense of just what children are up against these days, it’s useful to understand the physiological effects of stress on the brain. We as schools and we as parents need to remind ourselves that sustained excellence is not natural. It is not how we, ourselves, operate.”

Younger children, may find it difficult to recognize and verbalize when they are experiencing stress. For children, stress can manifest itself through changes in behavior. Common changes can include acting irritable or moody, withdrawing from activities that used to give them pleasure, clinging to a parent or teacher.
